"When Wayne initially asked me if he could take over my fitness routine, I was skeptical. I was already working out 5 to 6 days a week and I really didn't see how it would make a difference. He talked me into trying his Elite Program for three months with the assurance that if it didn't work out, I could return to my status as a dance student... No harm/no foul. I actually really like the workout routines and can see progress in strength, balance, and agility. Sometimes in order to meet your fitness goals, you need someone to tell you what and how to do it. Although I thought I would never see progress, I did what Wayne said... No matter how hard it seemed...and now I am stronger and more flexible than ever. He modifies all his work around injuries to strengthen weaknesses. I bounced back fully from a sprained ankle in weeks. Now I am able to do lots of push-ups, even with a clap and am currently working on one armed push ups. And I have muscles now!!! In the last 6 months we've been working almost exclusively with his Elite Program to get over my plateau. The dancing has been a secondary focus for a while. The first time I danced after a significant break, my form was noticeably stronger and better balanced (which made dancing much more enjoyable). While I was sweating through really tough work outs, my dancing "accidentally" improved. It's not an accident though: Wayne has his impressive Dance Fit Oregon Elite Program down to a science. I am looking forward to seeing how this routine continues to improve my dancing and how it will shape my physique, endurance, and fortitude."

"I wanted to learn to dance and be more comfortable dancing in a social situation. Previously, I would decline offers to dance at clubs and events because I didn't think I was very good. I chose Dance Fit Oregon as it allowed me to take private dance lesson or group classes. The private lessons gave me flexibility to schedule my lessons. It is also conveniently located!
At Dance Fit Oregon, I have a number of options from my private lessons to group classes. My dance instructor Wayne is great and challenges me; when I am having trouble with dance sequence, he will break it down into parts for easier learning. There is also a monthly party were I can practice my dancing skills with others. All of these help me achieve my goals. Working with Dance Fit Oregon, I'm more confident in my dancing. I like a challenge and even participated in a dance competition after only six months of lessons. I'm a runner and dancing has improved my flexibility.
I'm comfortable dancing in a variety of social settings and my body is more flexible with adding dancing and my fitness routine. Oh, and I'm learning to follow!!!
